THREE sixth formers at Mount House School have been awarded scholarships to move on to the secondary schools of their choice. Will Partington and Rory Millar will both be joining Sherborne School, and Georgina Morris is bound for Blundell's.

Will has been awarded a major sports scholarship to Sherborne. He is an exceptional sportsman and has achieved high standards in several sporting disciplines during his time at Mount House.

Rory, who has won a William Yates award for academic and all-round achievement to Sherborne School, is another keen sportsman. At the end of July, he is planning to cycle from Plymouth to Paris, as part of his preparation for next year's ride from John O' Groats to Land's End to raise funds for Help for Heroes.

Georgina has been awarded an academic exhibition to Blundell's School. During her time at Mount House, she has shown herself to be a fine musician, playing the piano and the violin, and singing with the school's Chapel Choir.
