WITH this, the first game after the Christmas break, both sides played entertaining rugby with the ball going from end to end. But Exeter Saracens gained the upper hand, crashing over the line to open the scoring. North/Okes forwards raised their game with a determined effort. Mike at scrum half kept the ball recycled. It was spun out to Pete who went over for a great try. The second half saw North/Okes going forward, and with some great handling from the backs the ball went to Bill on the wing who stepped inside to go over for a well deserved try.
It looked like the home side had done enough, but Saracens drew level with two minutes to go.
North/Okes did their best to hang on but with last play of the game Exeter Saracens went over in the corner to leave the final score 14-21.

THIS was the first game following the Christmas break and the team continued where they left off with a good performance.
The first half saw North Okes up by 35 points to 0. The second half was a closer encounter following wholesale changes to the team with Will Hawkins, Robert Steptoe and Andrew North substituted and Darcy Heard moved from centre to front row.
Points scored: Andrew North three and four conversions, Darcy Heard one and one conversion, Will Hawkins one, Rob Stepto one, Tom Gill one and Kevin Dennis two conversions.
