SANDFORD completed the double over Okehampton and the home side can have no complaints.

The promotion candidates showed they were too strong over 90 minutes for this young Okehampton side with still a lot to give for the future. Sandford's first came from a corner half-cleared to the edge of the box where it was thumped back home past Daniel Malcolm, making his debut after 17 months out with cruciate ligament damage.

The pace of the visiting front pair was extremely quick and Okehampton went 2-0 down on a breakaway.

Tim Shaw had a good effort saved by the Sandford keeper and Okehampton were still competing up to the break.

The second half saw the visitors get their third from a fine header from a right wing cross after Okehampton had started the better. This knocked the stuffing out of the home side and they conceded another speedy breakaway goal that was taken superbly.

Okehampton never stopped battling but mistakes were continually being made with the visitors closing down fast. Quicker movement off the ball gave them their final goal with Okehampton looking bewildered.

This Saturday home to Westexe 3pm kick-off on the main pitch.
