OKEHAMPTON?S Steve Sage was the only member of North Devon Wheeler?s who ventured to the country?s most southerly point to participate in Camel Valley C + TC 30-mile time trial at the Lizard on Sunday.
His efforts over the rolling 30miles from Lizard past Goonhilly and back were rewarded with a time of 1hr 17min 13s which was also good enough for third place overall.
This week he will be hoping for a similar result in the Exeter Wheelers time trial at Clyst St George.
