Sad to read of thefts from town cemetery

I AM writing to you to reply to the letter I read in the Times about the cemetery on the Plymouth Road.

I have been going to this cemetery for 11 to 12 years and have always been impressed by how well it has been maintained and always when the men are working there make an effort of telling them how lovely the grounds look.

I know that in March and April the rain kept them from cutting the grass, but I have never had cause to complain. I am sad to read that some flowers have been stolen, it must be very upsetting for the families.

Let's hope that it will soon stop.
