A COMMUNITY play involving Cornwall's Miracle Theatre and local performers was a big hit in Callington Town Hall during its three-night run last weekend.
'The Revenge of Rumpelstiltskin' which has toured venues across the South West was adapted to include a number of scenes involving actors from Callington's Prim Raf Theatre, the Lions' Club and dancers from the community college.
There was also a local singing group performing and the town hall was decorated in Georgian style to reflect the era which saw the birth of pantomime.
More than 300 people came to see the show over the weekend, delighting organisers CAVe (Callington Arts Venue) which is bringing a wide variety of arts and entertainment to the town.
