BRENDA Randle of Okehampton brought three of her Cavalier King Charles spaniels to compete in the dog show.

Rocky, a handsome ruby 22-month-old dog, was placed third at Crufts earlier this year, and was judged third and fourth in the post graduate dog and and open cavalier classes at the show.

Brenda has been showing and breeding Cavaliers since 1997, under her kennel name Bretam.

'My first bitch was called Tammy — I used her name so she's always there with me,' said Brenda.
