Kelly College v Grenville College KELLY won the toss and decided to bat on a good looking pitch against their North Devon opponents. The home side's openers Alex Sivyer and Jonny Elliott got the side off to a fine start scoring 50 before the loss of Sivyer for 20. This brought Paul Smith to the wicket  who together with Elliott started to dominate the Grenville bowlers — both players scoring attractive 50s. Kelly finished their 25 overs with a score of 208 for 5. This total looked to be a good one but the Kelly bowlers would have to bowl well to restrict the Grenville batsmen. The bowling attack responded well with regular wickets throughout the innings — dismissing Grenville for just 67. The pick of the bowlers were Rollo Whitehouse who took 3 for 15. Special mention must go to Christian Richards and Ian Davidson who both took their first ever wicket for the school.
