In the second half Tawton eased off the pace but a brave tackle from Ashley Arscott squeezed in a fifth.

George PItts finished off the game with a lightning header from 15 yards, letting Tawton head into the third round with confidence.

Man of the match Rob Board.

Okehampton Cup

Morchard Bishop . . . . . . . . . . . . 1

North Tawton . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2

BOTH teams found it tough against the strong winds and neither had much of a chance of scoring in the first half.

In the second half Tawton stepped up a gear and this paid off when a free kick was given to Tawton and Ashley Arscott scored with a good header.

The game became more open and with 15 minutes to go Morchard Bishop clawed one back from a cluttered Tawton box.

Just when extra time was lurking Bullock came off the bench and, with his first touch of the ball, nailed a 15-yard screamer into the bottom of the goal and put Tawton into the next round.
