THE Okehampton to Exbourne road will be closed to through traffic between Dornaford Cross and Exbourne Cross for three weeks at the end of the month.
The road will be closed to through traffic for three weeks from Tuesday, August 31, for SWW mains water rehabilitation works.
A diversionary route will be in operation from Dornaford Cross via Sampford Chapple to Exbourne Cross and vice-versa.
l More road closures are planned for Hatherleigh later this month.
Water mains rehabilitation work will result in the closure of High Street in Hatherleigh for a ten-day period from Monday, August 23. A diversion will be operating along Bridge Street and South Street.
Mains water works will also result in the closure to through traffic of Higher Street, Hatherleigh for ten days from Monday, August 30.
An alternative route will be operating from Basset?s Cross via the A386 to the roundabout then along Bridge Street and South Street and vice-versa.
l A temporary road closure will be in place in the hamlet of Patchacott, near Beaworthy for approximately 250 metres between the south and north junctions later this month.
The road will be closed to through traffic for a period of approximately ten days beginning on Wednesday, August 25 for SWW mains water rehabilitation works.
An alternative route will be in operation from south of Patchacott along the U2004 to Hole, the C576 to Beaworthy village and the U2005 via Polehayes to Patchacott and vice-versa.
