A ROAD closure notice will be in operation from Throwleigh Cross to Ash Bridge Cross (on the road from Clannaborough Cott to Ash Bridge) from next week. The closure affecting through traffic is due to come into force from Monday April 18 and will run for approximately 13 days while PU lining work is carried out on 400m of road. An alternative route will operate from Ash Bridge to Langston via the U3506 and C546 and vice-versa. l The road bridge over the disused railway on the C464 near Was Tor, Lydford will be closed to through traffic next week for mains rehabilitation work. The closure will be for two weeks, beginning on Monday, April 18. A diversion will run from Lydford via the A386 to Mary Tavy, Brentor Road to North Brentor to rejoin the C464 and vice-versa. l Tongue End Cross to Belstone Cross will be closed to through traffic for two weeks to allow bursting pipe work in the carriageway to be carried out. The closure notice will come into force from Monday, April 18. An alternative route will run from Tongue End Cross via the old A30 to the junction leading to Priestacott to Belstone and vice-versa. Similar work also needs to be carried out at Skaigh Lane, Belstone. A road traffic closure will operate on the road for five days from Monday, May 2. Drivers should use the diversion from Lady Well via the C774 to Tongue End Cross via the C574 to Belstone Corner and vice-versa.
