THE road between Withecombe Cross and Sandgate Cross, Chagford, will be closed to through traffic next week as BT requires access to a carriageway box to restore service. The road closure will be in place for five days beginning Monday, February 28. An alternative route will be in place from Sandgate Cross along the A382 to Easton Cross, then via the B3206 to Chagford, through High Street and Mill Street to Factory Cross. From Factory Cross to Wallon Cross, to White Cross to Withecombe Cross and vice-versa.
