SEVERAL West Devon roads will be closed to traffic for resurfacing work during the next two weeks.

The road between Meavy Primary School and Lower Meavy Bridge junction will be closed to traffic for three days from Wednesday, June 21.

A diversion will be in operation via Meavy Barton and 'Dousland' Road, and via Lovaton and Higher Meavy Bridge.

The road between St Andrew's School at Buckland Monachorum and Netherton House will be closed for two days from June 26 — diversion signs will be in operation.

And the road south from Milton Combe village hall will be closed for three days commencing June 28 — an alternative route using Church Hill and Goosewell Lane will be signposted.

Access to properties in all three areas will be maintained as much as possible during the road closures — residents experiencing problems should contact Mr N Pogodin, highway engineer, on 01837 52773.
