A CHARITY horse ride has been organised this month, to help support a Tavistock child with autism. Just a year ago, five-year-old Paul Lewis could speak around 100 words ? his vocabulary is now uncountable, having started on the American Son-Rise Program last year. Parents Allen and Sheena have organised the charity horse ride for two years now, which has attracted support from all across the country. The ride will take place on September 24 at 11am at the East Dart Hotel or Elephant?s Nest to the Dartmoor Inn Merrivale and back. Money raised will go towards Paul?s participation in the Son-Rise programme. Anyone who wants to take part in the ride can contact Allen Lewis on 01822 614335.
