BRATTON Clovelly enjoyed a morning of fun and celebration on Saturday, to mark the grand opening of the Under 5s' pre-school room in the parish hall by Judy Dowell. The event was well attended and bacon rolls and hot drinks were enjoyed by all. Red noses were on sale to raise money for Comic Relief. The newly-named Tor Room was full of children of all ages who enjoyed exploring all of the toys and activities it has to offer. It has taken several years of fundraising, hard work and dedication by the staff and parents of Bratton Clovelly Under 5s to convert the snooker room into a specially-equipped classroom for pre-school children and for use as a committee room. Bratton Clovelly Under 5s expressed thanks to the following for donations: Okehampton Rotary Club, Mole Valley Farmers, Bridgmans, Mole Avon, Harpers Home Mix, Blake's heating and plumbing and North Park Vets. The generous support of many parents and local businesses also ensured the successful completion of the Tor Room.
