THE 18th annual Stowford Garden Produce Show was held on August 13.

Mrs A Hennessey, welcomed everyone and introduced two former Stowford parishioners, Bryan and Pat Cobbledick, who opened the show.

Bryan said he was pleased to be there, and to see so many exhibits.

Charlie Chick presented Mrs Cobbledick with an orchid plant.

Patchwork quilting saw a record number of entries, and judges commented on the hard work, that had been put into it by the entrants.

Cookery again had good entries. The flowers and floral arts, stood out, as did the children's exhibits.
