RECYCLER, the rapping robot, will be starring in his own show when he visits both Tavistock and Okehampton Primary Schools next Tuesday. Recycler will be promoting the 3 R's with a difference — reduce, reuse and recycle — to the youngsters during the educational interactive show. The rapping robot will bring recycling to life, using the 3 Rs and other examples to encourage children to have fun as they recycle at home and at school. Cllr Chris Jenkins, chairman of the council's environment committee, said: 'There is no better way of getting the message across to children then letting them have fun whilst learning and I am encouraged by how knowledgeable our children are about their environment.' The Recycler programme is part of the national Recycle Now campaign delivered by WRAP and Waste Watch, in partnership with the borough and county council.
