DARTMOOR Radio Club were at the opening ceremony at Yelverton Memorial Hall for the Rainwater Collection Project.

They were there to demonstrate some of their activities to those at the hall. Using various types of transmitters and erecting temporary aerials, club members are able to talk directly to other radio amateurs in places such as Australia and South America.

Over the past year Dartmoor Radio Club has helped with communications with local events such as the Dartmoor Ultra Marathon and the Abbots’ Way Walk.
