STICKLEPATH Fireshow made its triumphant return on November 5, offering up a spectacular night's entertainment.

The weather was cold but dry for the Okehampton area's major Guy Fawkes night event.

As well as the firework display, visitors got to enjoy this year's show, entitled 'Quarks and Sparks'. As always, the story was kept top secret until the night, and as with tradition, Guy ended up in flames on the bonfire.

Last year's show, which would have been the 30th anniversary of the event, was cancelled following a number of difficulties throughout the year — but the team who have been behind previous shows worked hard to bring the event back to Sticklepath and ensure the village enjoyed its 30th fireshow.
