STAFF at an East Cornwall food company took part in a gruelling challenge of running, cycling and kayaking for miles to raise several thousand pounds for two charities.
Tamar Foods staff, in Callington, took part in the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge which involved them walking/running 10km, cycling 30km and kayaking 3km.
Some staff even braved the 'Super Tough' event which was 15km on foot, 45km cycling and 5km kayaking all against the clock.
The company raised nearly £7,000, from the event as well as a charity car wash, sales of a calendar produced by and featuring staff of Tamar Foods, book sales and many other events.
The money was split between St Luke's Hospice and the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, who both received a cheque for £3,946.44.
