CHILDREN at Lydford Primary School have been learning about the wonderful world of the rainforest during their annual arts week. Key Stage 1 pupils worked with Devon artist Teresa Grimaldi to make a series of stunning rainforest puppets, while all the children at the school have been taking part in sessions with musician Hugh Nankivell as they investigated rainforest sounds and music. The workshops have been supported with class- based art, drama and music sessions. The visits by artists and musicians was arranged through the DAISI organisation (Devon Arts in Schools Initiative).
