A WOMAN was freed from her 4x4 vehicle by members of the public after an accident on the A388 between Callington and Saltash on Monday.

Fire crews from Callington were called to the scene, following reports that the vehicle had rolled several times at the junction for St Dominick at 6.20pm.

On arrival they discovered that the female occupant had already been freed.

Crews made the vehicle safe.
