STUDENTS and staff at Callington College were engaged in a recent Skills Immersion programme.

This was an opportunity to break away from the usual curriculum routines, allowing everyone time and space to think about and develop a range of skills and habitats designed to promote excellence in life.

Challenges were carefully structured and involved working together across the age range in order to acquire and use a range of learning skills, solve problems individually and in groups, think carefully about successes and failures, evaluate conflicting evidence and think critically, and accept that learning involves risk-taking and difficulty.
