TWO members of staff from South Tawton Primary School will be taking part in a major fundraiser in London this weekend.
Administrator Debbie Bryant and headteacher Heather Poustie will join the MoonWalk London 2012 on Saturday for WalktheWalk, a charity that raises money for vital breast cancer causes.
The duo are walking 26 miles through the capital alongside 15,000 other fundraisers, and are hoping to raise £500 for the cause.
WalktheWalk was founded in 1996 after 13 women took to the streets of New York in their bras to run the New York Marathon. The team raised more than £25,000, and since then fundraising has continued, with WalktheWalk having raised over £75-million for vital breast cancer causes.
The MoonWalk event has been running in London since 1998.
