CHILDREN at South Zeal Pre-School will now be able to play outside as well as indoors thanks to their new garden facility.

During the recent sunny spell, children have been using the garden to enjoy the outdoors.

Sharon Cooper, pre-school leader, said: 'It makes such a difference to be able to spend some of our time outdoors now and we'd especially like to thank Mole Avon of Okehampton for their sponsorship of the fence panels and Country Lanes Garden Centre in Okehampton for their donation.'

The new garden comes just after the pre-school's recent Ofsted inspection. The school was awarded a good rating, and a positive written report.

The pre-school committee, made up of parents of those that attend, expressed thanks and congratulations to all the staff in their efforts to receive such a positive report.
