Thousands of Devon residents will enjoy a wider range of services thanks to a major new housing partnership.
Devon and Cornwall Housing, Tor Homes and West Devon Homes have pooled resources and skills to deliver a responsive repairs and improvements service to residents across the north and west of the county.
It is predicted that the pooling of expertise will support savings of more than £200,000 in the next two years.
There will be a focus on performance within the alliance, working with residents to agree priorities to improve standards.
Howard Toplis, chief executive of Tor Homes, which is part of Devon and Cornwall Housing group, said it was an exciting partnership, illustrating the benefits of joint-working, with a shared vision for excellence.
He added: 'Joining forces will give residents additional support, and our aim is to raise standards that exceed regulatory targets and match the expectations of existing and future customers.'
An independent board chairman will oversee a committee made up from Devon and Cornwall Housing, Tor Homes and West Devon Homes.
Paul Love, chairman of West Devon Homes, said: 'West Devon Homes is really excited by this innovative partnership.
'West Devon Homes is committed to giving great value for money, and wants to extend and improve the range of services offered to our customers.
'Working with a large and successful housing provider such as Devon and Cornwall Housing will help deliver these aims.'
The partnership will cover more than 3,000 homes, as well as new developments in the area.
