MAKING bows and arrows and outdoor adventure were the order of the day for members of Inspiration (Church of the Nations) Okehampton who recently spent a weekend at the town's youth hostel.

The time away from the regular Sunday meetings gave members a chance to strengthen relationships and see each other in different surroundings.

There were many activities organised, including family orienteering, making bows in the forest, team building exercises, videos and a craft morning.

The highlight was an entertainment show where senior leader Mike Davies and his wife, Justine, dressed as Danny and Sandy from Grease, 'Inspiration Man' flew in and they even had their own Shooting Stars — Vic and Bob.
