WHOEVER the person is who is using the area by the old folk's rest room area in Duke Street as a dumping ground for their household rubbish, please stop it.

Over the past few weeks I have seen and reported bags of household waste that have been dumped in this area.

On Saturday March 31 there were another two white trade waste bags dumped again there — it makes me so mad.

A couple of weeks ago there were four of these white trade waste bags left as well as nine black bin bags of household rubbish.

There was a very nice man playing music for charity in the area, surrounded by the rubbish bags and dog poo — how disgusting.

I reported it to the council who very quickly removed them.

What sort of message are we sending out to visitors to our town seeing areas like this with rubbish dumped there?

This should not be happening!

Disposing of rubbish in this way is an offence and if anyone knows or sees this person please report them. We need to put a stop to this sort of thing happening and spoiling our beautiful town.
