THERE is still time to send in completed questionnaires to register your views about on-street parking in Tavistock. Devon County Council has been carrying out a consultation exercise to determine whether residents and businesses would support the introduction of a residents? parking scheme and/or on-street pay and display parking. Approximately 1,000 questionnaires were sent out to residents within the town centre area but only one in four have been returned so far. There has been an equally low response from the town centre businesses. Devon county councillor for Tavistock Roy Connelly has urged people to send in their questionnaires. ?It is important people complete these forms and send them in so their views can be accounted for within the consultation,? he said.
