I COUNTED seven dogs off leads in the Meadows on Saturday morning whilst walking my dogs on leads. The owners of these seven different dogs either cannot read or have no respect for other dog owners nor the people out for a nice walk, who then have to try and avoid loose dogs running around them!
Do we have any officials who could point out the 'Dogs on leads' sign? Obviously not. The Meadows may one day become a no-go area for dogs, thus spoiling a well used facility for owners who do keep their dogs on leads. So perhaps the owners who have no respect for other people will think on!
