PUPILS at Delaware Pre-school will have extra fun in the playground in the coming weeks with some new markings, thanks to dedicated fundraising and a generous contribution.

The pre-school expressed thanks to Pearce's Service Station in Gunnislake for nominating it for a 'Making a Difference Locally' donation.

The £500 received was put with the rest of the funds raised by the pre-school through a Christmas raffle and stalls held at fetes and staff are now in the process of ordering markings for the playground.

A spokesperson from the pre-school said: 'We are now in the process of ordering the markings and we will be getting a small road circuit, zebra crossing, a rocket hopscotch and some different shapes.

'They should last for years to come.'
