MORE than £100 was raised for St Luke’s Hospice during a ‘plank challenge’ at Callington Tesco recently.

The amount raised brings Callington Tesco’s total fundraised for the charity, since the end of January, to approximately £3,400. A further £1,000 has been raised by two members of staff Jody and Ryan who recently took part in a St Luke’s Skydive event.

The plank challenge proved popular, with both customers and staff challenging each other to hold the plank position the longest; best times varied from five to ten minutes for the men and two to four minutes for the women.
