PINHOE gained sweet revenge for having to give Hatherleigh all three points earlier in the season when they failed to turn up at the reverse fixture.
Hatherleigh almost had the dream start when straight from the kick-off a long ball to Simon James was crossed to Andy Harnell only to see his shot go just over the bar.
Pinhoe hit back with a good move and it resulted in them taking the lead — ten minutes later they were two up with another well-worked goal.
Hatherleigh, with their backs to the wall, allowed Pinhoe to press forward looking to add to their tally and with half an hour gone they did just that with another well-taken goal.
Hatherleigh then enjoyed their best spell and got their reward when a good cross from Paul Endacott found Simon James who finished well at the back post.
The second half saw Hatherleigh compete a lot better and Pinhoe were forced to shoot from long range but the pressure told and two goals in the last minute sealed Hatherleigh's fate.
Hatherleigh's next fixture is away to Budleigh Salterton on Easter Monday, kick-off 3pm.
