AN incredible tale of determination and endurance will be retold by Hexworthy resident and internationally famous explorer Pen Hadow during a talk at Chagford this month.
Pen will recount his 64-day unsupported trek to the geographic North Pole, during which he endured temperatures as low as -45c, at the Jubilee Hall on Tuesday July 13, starting at 8pm. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to Chagford?s community swimming pool.
