Underhill Group, Plymouth & West Devon Combination, Intermediate Ordulph Arms 2 Plymouth Parkway 3 THIS was an enthralling game in which Ordulph can class themselves as unlucky not to get anything against an adequate Plymouth Parkway. Parkway started the stronger ? Orduplh did not really turn up till half time. Parkway opened the scoring within ten minutes when clever running in behind the back four allowed the forward to finish past Shaun Maloney. Midway through the first half the blues were two down due to a well taken strike from the edge of the box. At half time Ordulph made some changes, bringing on Chris Blackmore and Nick John and this had positive reaction. Ordulph went close several times before Rob Maloney, who was pushed up to midfield had a header strike the bar. The home side looked more urgent in their play and Maloney soon fired home from close range. This gave Ordulph some belief and Paul Cowling twice went close before Paul Gliddon had a shot cleared off the line. Parkway got a third against the run of play with a superb solo goal, but Ordulph responded immediately when Rob Maloney fired home from James Coole?s cross. It was all the home side from then on, Phillpotts striking the post from a tight angle after Maloney?s shot was palmed away. The home side had everything except a bit of luck as Maloney had another header come back off the crossbar as the goalpost took a hammering. Ordulph continued to pressure and in stoppage time as they had another header cleared off the line ? this time Blackmore was the unlucky man.
