A CHARITY run is taking place in Simmons Park in Okehampton next month to raise funds for the British Lung Foundation.

Those taking part will participate in either a 2.5-kilometre or a 5-kilometre run or walk, which starts at the Pavilion in the Park.

The fundraising event will be hosted Okehampton Community Recreation Association (OCRA) and will be held on Sunday, October 1.

Registration forms can be collected from the Pavilion in the Park.

All money raised from the run will be donated to the British Lung Foundation — a UK charity looking providing support to those suffering with lung conditions.
