OSKA, the boxer dog, made the top eight in his class of 21 at Crufts on Saturday and his owner Katy Dawe from Harrowbarrow met HRH Prince Michael of Kent.

More formally known as Ewnybox The Cornish Issue, Oska qualified for life at Crufts in his first year in the show ring by winning his junior warrant and an entry into the prestigious Kennel Club Stud Book.

Oska is three years old and Katy, along with her partner Mark Bond, were absolutely delighted that their boy made the grade on Saturday.

Katy felt privileged to have been asked questions by Prince Michael who is the Queen’s cousin.  He is the president of the Kennel Club and together with his wife, Princess Michael of Kent, made a special visit to the boxer ring which they had specifically requested since the princess’ family used to own the breed.?
