CLEAVE House at Sticklepath will be opening under the National Gardens Scheme on June 30 and July 1 after a number of medal successes at recent flower shows. The garden houses a National Collection of Hostas and displays at the Chelsea Flower Show and the Malvern Spring Show won owners Ann and Roger Bowden gold medals. They also won a silver medal at the BBC Gardeners? World Flower Show last week. Cancer Research and Macmillan Nurses will benefit from the open garden event which will run from 10.30am to 5pm each day. The entrance cost is £2. Cleave House garden was started 40 years ago and has many mature shrubs and trees as well as hostas.
