THIS was probably the worst performance North Tawton had put in for years.
In the first 15 minutes one would have thought the scoreline was going to be the other way around with Tawts completely outplaying Alphington.
Keith Steward, who went on a lovely solo run, had his shot saved by the home keeper after ten minutes.
Alphington soon equalised and before half-time North Tawton were 3-0 down.
The second half saw some changes made, and North Tawton managed to contain Alphington until a slight error from the Tawts keeper saw a 25-yard strike slip underneath him.
