DUST off your running shoes and join the Tavistock Rotary Club for its annual fun run for men, ladies and children next month.

The club run, on July 14, will kick off the town's Carnival Week.

The races start at Kilworthy Hill council office car park, with the ladies' race starting at 10am, children at 10.10am and men at 11am. The five-mile route is from the car park, to Crease Lane and onwards to Mill Hill Quarry and return. The children's U16s race is 1.2 miles.

Adult entry forms will be included in a draw. The prize is a dinner for two donated by the Bedford Hotel. Parking and toilets are available at the race start. All proceeds will go to local charities. Entry for adults is £6 and children £3.
