A WALK through Tavistock will be looking at the work and designs of architect Theophilus Jones. The event which will be led by John Goodridge has been organised by the Tamar Valley AONB Service and will take place on Saturday, July 23. The walk will go past some of Jones? designs including the Duke of Bedford Cottages and magistrates? court, designed in 1848, before ending at his burial site. The event is suitable for all, starting at 2.45pm and finishing at 5pm. Booking is essential and anyone interested should telephone 01579 351681.
