THERE was another victory for Okehampton men?s squash team on Tuesday week against old rivals Tiverton.
Rob Barkwell did enough to take the rubber three games to one. Steve Yeo probably played his best match so far this year with an awesome display beating his opponent 3-0.
Arnie Searle, unfortunately still not at his best, lost 3-1, but Donald Rooke and Martin Leyton, coming through strong again, defeated their opponents 3-1, 3-0 respectively, giving Okehampton and 18 to 6 points victory.
The ladies also had a great win, defeating Golf and Country Club.
Fourth team with maximum points Sue Stanbury, Kath Bolt, Jane HIgnett and Heather Hatton, all won three games to nil. Mandy Blackmore was the only one to drop a game.
