A TALENTED beauty therapist who works in Okehampton has won the top accolade on her course at college.

Hannah Cole (pictured), 18, was named Student of the Year on the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Beauty and Spa Therapy course at Exeter College.

The report from the college praised her ‘quiet attention to detail’ and ‘outstanding technical skills’.

Hannah ‘worked to consistently high standard’, her lecturers added, and had a ‘happy character and entertaining personality’.

She finished her college course earlier this month, and now works full-time at Beauty by Design in East Street, where her boss Leanne Chatting-Walters is extremely proud of her.

‘Hannah has worked extremely hard throughout her two years at Exeter College, winning Student of the Year in her first year and second years and also finishing with 100% attendance and a distinction,’ said Leanne.

‘Her conscientious manner has seen her blossom into an extremely professional confident beauty therapist.’
