In division one of the Okehampton and district table tennis league Anchorage A were at home to Okehampton A.
Anchorage went into an early lead but Okehampton A proved too strong and ran out winners 7-3. In their next match Okehampton A took on Bridestowe, Mark Tancock scored a fine maximum for Bridestowe, the match was very close and finished a 5-5 draw.
North Wyke were at home to Tavistock who proved to strong winning 9-1, Tom Misselbrook saving the whitewash. Last year's division two runners up Academy A were at home to The J Team who won the match 9-1, with young Daniel Howell saving the whitewash.
In division two the two new sides Okehampton College and Globetrotters had a hard fought match with the college running out winners 8-2.
Okehampton B were at home to Anchorage B in a competitive match with no clear winner until the end, Anchorage winning 6-4.
Two Moretonhampstead teams met, Globetrotters against Moretonhampstead B — the Globetrotters had a comfortable win but Ollie Piggott had a fine maximum for Moreton B, Globetrotters winning 7-3.
