The mini girls? team has been unbeaten for more than two years and have lost some stalwarts to the juniors, but the team of Charlotte Rowe, Ellen Bright, Lucy Almond and Rosa Malseed did brilliantly to win a huge class of 14 teams and almost 50 competitors.
Charlotte, also unbeaten last year, won the individual class with the best swim and a great run, while Rosa put in a really promising performance to come sixth, with the best shoot in the class and a PB run.
Lucy?s swim was a PB and Ellen also put in a determined effort around the track, both of them finishing in the first twelve.
William Leech was the club?s only entrant in the mini boys? class, and determined not to be outdone by the girls, won his class, thanks to a PB shoot and best swim.
This was a great result for William as it was only his third ever competition.
The junior girls? class was highly competitive but Rebecca Rowe was in great form, winning the class, with a stunning swim of well over nine lengths, followed by the fastest run in the class. Lydia Svensson was competing as a junior for the first time and did well to finish in the top half of the class.
