Illogan Park 73 Callington 8 IN the second meeting of these two teams Callington were to play away to Illogan Park. With the culmination of injuries and work commitments Callington were only able to raise 14 players for this game, but were unwilling to postpone the game against Illogan Park who had a full squad. Illogan Park were a stronger side and dominated much of the scrummaging and line-outs, but Callington were able to hold their own for much of the game. But a series of successful attacks lead to Illogan Park being able to score a series of tries early on in the game. Callington were able to put points on the board in the first half through the boot of Wayne Wormald who scored a penalty. In the second half Callington were able to make a come back of their own with a try after back Mark Gallimore made a dash down the right wing and popped a pass in to Derek Ingleson who went on to score. But this attempt was little in comparison to the extra tries that Illogan Park were able to score as they went on to win 73-8.
