NORTHLEW Primary School is to celebrate its 150th anniversary later this year — and former pupils, staff and anyone associated with the school is being asked to bring forward any old photos of school life they may have for an exhibition in September.

The photo exhibition is being organised by a group of former pupils from the 1960s and they would love to see any photos that feature the school or village life gone by.

The village shop currently has a box for photos so if you have any, drop them into the box with a name and contact number. Organisers would prefer that photocopies are put in the box.

More information about the celebrations being planned for Saturday, September 24 will be revealed in the months to come.
