A NEW website highlighting practical projects and events within Dartmoor National Park has been launched by the Dartmoor Biodiversity Project?s Action for Wildlife programme.
Action for Wildlife is working with landowners, schools and communities to benefit wildlife habitats and species on the moor.
From community dormouse surveys to protecting river gravel for salmon, Action for Wildlife is carrying out a host of different projects within parishes on Dartmoor.
The website contains information about these projects plus a news and events section giving details of up and coming activities such as guided walks and workshops.
Publications and information can also be downloaded from the site, from helping salmon survive on Dartmoor to managing trees with lichens.
