A new fashion outlet is coming to West Devon with North Devon brand Saltrock all set to open in Tavistock town centre tomorrow (Saturday).

A surf heritage brand born out of North Devon, with a passion for the outdoors in the sea or on land, Saltrock was launched in Braunton in 1987 selling products which are durable, wearable, practical and comfortable, with bold graphics with attitude.

Since then, the business has grown to more than 50 stores, online and 70 wholesale accounts.

Saltrock’s MD, Karl Plank, said: “We as a brand started in Devon so Tavistock is a perfect match for our brand heritage. We are really looking forward to becoming part of the community.”

Marie Clarke, Head of Brand & Marketing of Saltrock , commented ‘This is a great step for the Saltrock Brand. The new store environment celebrates the brand heritage while being relevant with each location. With proximity so close to the scenic views over Dartmoor and the surrounding national park, Tavistock is an inspiring location for our new store and is an ideal opportunity to exhibit our brand story and product line to both local and international consumers’.

To celebrate their opening and showcase the new store, Saltrock Tavistock is inviting visitors to come into the store for the chance to *win an exclusive free goodie bag for 20 shoppers and a *free-gift with every purchase.

Saltrock, which has stores across the UK, has employed 5 new staff in its Tavistock store.
