THROUGH innovative fund raising, generous donations and hard graft, the villagers and friends of Postbridge now have a newly decorated village hall, which will be open for all to see this Sunday.

With a refurbished kitchen, upgraded toilets and an extended car park, the village hall will be open to prospective hirers between 2pm and 4pm.

There will be tea and cakes available during the afternoon.

Much of the money for the refurbishment was raised by comedy plays, shows and the annual 'Postbridge Rocks' event, as well as members of the community giving their time and effort to boost income for the hall, and the Community Payback Scheme helping with decorating.
